If you have heard of the movie, The Secret, then you have heard of the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is not something that simply comes your way, you need to put some effort into reaching your goals too.
There are plenty of techniques that you can use in order to make the Law of Attraction work for you so that you can get what you want out of your life but here are some of our favourites:
1. Creative Visualisation
First and foremost, if you are interested in using the Law of Attraction to its fullest potential, try beginning each day with meditation. Meditation is important as it brings your focus toward what it is that you want to achieve and helps you focus on what you need to take action on for the day ahead.
Creative Visualisation is a powerful tool in creating the feelings behind the desire. It is not enough to just meditate on something you wish to attract into your life, visualising brings it to life and keeps the image at the back of your mind.
By feeling the emotions as you see yourself smashing your goals and receiving the rewards of your goals you create a trigger in the back of your mind which makes you want to smash them all the more. As you embrace the feelings of joy and happiness that come with achieving your goals, you will see that more joy and happiness will enter your life as you journey through the to the finish line.
2. Practice Being Grateful
Being grateful means truly understanding how much we already do have without asking for any more. When you are in a state of gratitude, so many more things to be grateful for come our way.
Take a look around you, there is so much that you have that you can be thankful for – You just need to stand up and take notice of them, no matter how small they may be. When you start being mindful of simple blessings such as butterflies or flowers that envelope your life, you will feel more joy. Once you feel more joy, you will manifest more joyful events in your life.
3. Journal Your Thoughts
If you really want to get the most out of the Law of Attraction, then you must try to consciously control your own thoughts on a daily basis. Yes, this is easier said than done but just acknowledging a negative thought and stopping it in its tracks goes a long way.
If you find yourself going into negative or self-sabotaging thoughts, try the following:
* Shift your focus to something positive.
* Look back over your gratitude list and concentrate on all that you are grateful for.
* Use affirmations to help turn the negative thought into a positive one.
4. Create a Ritual
Keep your goals at the forefront to help you stay focused by creating a ritual. Whether is when you create space to sit down with a pen and paper each week to write down your goals and what you grateful for the previous week OR you mix a little self-care with the other 3 points listed above.
Settle in a place where you know you won’t be disturbed. Surround yourself with things you love and that bring calmness to your space. Journal your thoughts and ideas out. Write down your big goals and break them down into smaller ones so that you can accomplish the main goal faster than just focusing on one big end goal. Take a long bath. Paint your nails. Drink tea. Light candles. Meditate and visualise your goals.
Then watch them unfold.
